SEASONAL OPERATIONS

Good evening, folks. Harry Wankman here for WHRT News reporting on the new SEASONAL OPERATIONS appearing throughout the game. Hi there ghouls and goblins. the spooky season is upon us and may end on the new month but until then, there are some spooktacular events to lurk for.

First up on the cutting block, heads will roll by joining a faction. Are you a Hero? A Villain? A Renegade? Choose a faction to join and terrorize your enemies. When you pick a faction, you can earn points and additional awards in the daily PVP. Choose wisely or the head that rolls may be your own. HeHeHe. There are some other scary things going on as well.

The Keeper of Events has added some seasonal operations that you can do during this haunting season.





Look for seasonal themed monsters in patrols and in the missions were 'You Found Trouble!' is located. There are a couple horrible monsters to defeat. You will be on a quest to hunt down them in the patrols. There are specters and skeletons. For every 5 specters and skeleton you kill, you will be rewarded with 300 'Ops Points' to spend in the Field Ops on your profile page as well as a great power card but that's not all. There's more.





If you lurk around on the mission's tab like New Amsterdam, there is another way to add to your Ops Points. as you defend the mission zones there will be some pop-up special operations that will require your input. Choose well and you will be rewarded with Ops Points and sometimes you can receive power cards or consumables. It's been really lucrative for me.

Here is a helpful hint. You will be given three options to choose from for your input. If any of these choices are dimmed out, your current battle suit is missing a certain attribute and may need to add it to your suit to be successful. Keep in mind, these special operations are battles. a choice that is successful once may not be the next. Chances are, if you stick with your successful choice, it will be successful again. Memorize this info and use it to your advantage.



These special operations have been quite fun and really rewarding. At the end of this event, you will also receive BADGE points to help you earn more perk advantages. There is also a 'Special Ops License' available for a small amount. It will pay for itself because it comes with good amount of morphon particles.



Don't miss out on the action. Join a faction. Hunt down Specters and skeletons in patrols and keep track of your kills on the quest tab. Defend your mission zones. You will be rewarded. see ya out there. I'll be lurking for you.

PoV: League War

At the time this article goes live, we will know for certain if the WMD franchise has succeeded in their gambit to land separate powerhouse sides in each of the top 4 divisions of the next League War tournament.



For some time now, most of the tournament’s upper division title races have been a formality, and even with the introduction of NPC leagues for variety, there havent been any surprise moves or change of positioning strategy among the leagues.

After the August tournament, some may have seen opportunity to maneuver into the D3 group where Poison claimed a title. Instead, the top tier league pounced, not content to sit on their laurels. They could have been clear favourites to coast to D1, 2 and 4.

For rest of the leagues, any plan to get in a position to win rare silverware was scuppered by the All-powerful.

All is not yet lost at this stage, of course. There’s a slim chance that some NPC leagues could help the beleagued others; however based on the current rules at play with regard to average levels, the only place for them, will be in D1, where even a “diminished“ senior unit is still by far superior. They may very well be a bit more vulnerable to Longwang and crew than their other units vs the likes of Colony, but one imagines it’s well worth the risk. After all, Longwang doesn’t use Triumph tokens.



The lesson for all would-be challenger leagues? Never get complacent, and always be willing to try something bold.

HALLOWEEN LEAGUE WAR IS HERE! Are you ready for Lich?

Greetings heroes!

This is Beta from the fledgling league, Alpha Omega, bringing you an update on the upcoming Halloween-themed league war: Lich with Nine Lives!



"Lich" evokes the supernatural: the undead, revenants, ghosts. Which is why this league war takes place on a Lich battlefield, which greatly favours Supernatural gear powers. This is an important criteria and be sure to take note of how gear powers are modified in this battlefield:



Signups are about to end, so if you have not already done so, be sure to register your league in time. Remember, at least 3 members need to register, one of which must be the league leader. Here is the full timeline of the war.

ATLAS CRISIS LIVE UPDATE

Greetings heroes!

Today we bring you a live update of the Atlas crisis that is happening. Once again, we are being bombarded with solar flares, bringing harmful emissions of intense electromagnetic radiation from the sun.

As you may have noticed, supercharged auroras have been sighted as far down as tropical and even equatorial regions, a phenomenon never witnessed before!

We're calling all heroes to band together to shield our Earth from these deleterious flares by using your defense powers to protect us.

So far, just over 3 million solar flares have been shielded, but our task is only just beginning. We have about 21 hours and we expect as many as 12.2 million solar flares to hit us, so there is a lot more shielding required.

We're grateful to the following heroes for their efforts so far. Here are the top 8 heroes who are protecting us as of the time of this report:
