GREAT QUACKS! ITS FEBRUARY ALREADY!

Well January 2026 went by fast! Last month, we had an excellent editorial on the Snowball Throwing Event, with real insights and excellent tips to maximise snowball throws.

These types of editorials are very useful for the game, and we've had many excellent ones in the past, but as the game evolves, we need more player guides like these especially on all the new features introduced. But not just players guides. Reviews, players PoVs, and role-play tied in to game lore, etc, are much encouraged. Feel free to share your thoughts and options by submitting them to the Sentinel Facebook page.

The usual editorial bonus for reviews, commentaries, game guides, gear talk, fan-fiction, and origin stories applies to all submissions that are published.

Player Guide: A review of Frostuary's Snowball Throwing Event

Frostuary has come and gone. Next year... be prepared! Here is how I set out to throw Snowballs and find Chocolates! Set up for success.

To begin, put on your Snow Thrower arm and Chocolate Detector goggles! If you have multiple pieces of gear - wear them! You can also go to the Arctic Cafe and purchase Ice Scoopers with Ice Crystals once you get going. While you are there get ALL the Cones & the Hot Chocolate. What do these do?

The blueberry snowcone -
+10 Throw Snowball
Consumed Immediately - Lasts 4 hours

The cherry snowcone -
50% chance to regain 1 energy every time you throw a snowball
Consumed Immediately - Lasts 4 hours

The lime snow cone - (OPTIONAL for this exercise.)
+1% to ATK, DEF, MOV, and LIFE
Consumed Immediately - Lasts 4 hours

The hot chocolate -
Chance to refill 1 battle each time you throw a snowball
Consumed Immediately - Lasts 4 hours

Ideally, you want every arena fight to throw snowballs, return free Battles and free Energy. You can fight in the arena until your Battles are exhausted, then move over the Missions and Patrols to use your Energy, find Chocolate and restore Battles. It is possible to restore your Battles FREE, so you can move back over to the arena. Rinse & repeat.

Now set up your equipment. Your goal is to increase the number of fight rounds, which increases your chances to throw snowballs. Reduce your damage, poison, auras, etc. and increase your life, resistance and disruption. You want the fight round to last as long as possible - even losing. I have thrown 7 snow balls in a fight round that I have lost. Here is an example:

Movement + 3120
Life + 2780
Life Bonus % 63
Attack + % 4
Defense + % 172
Movement + % 154
Regeneration 5
Disrupt Auras 164
Prevent Poison (44) 42%
Elemental Damage 1
Throw Snowball (207) 78%
Find Chocolate (78) 55.5%
Stun Resist (148) 85%
Resist Physical (342) 98%
Resist Mental (345) 98%
Resist Magic (342) 98%
Resist Supernatural (373) 98%
Resist Tech (572) 98%
Resist Elemental (558) 98%
Morph Damage 30
______
Attack: 12,042,784
Defense: 31,684,995
Movement: 171,733,555
Health: 4,094

Your suit doesn’t need to perfectly match this. It could be a goal.

Finally, go find a “SNOWBALL PARTNER” in the arena. This could be any player up or down from you based upon your level-strength. Ideally, what you are looking for will seem counterintuitive. You are looking for a player who matches up well to have long fight rounds and you LOSE. This is actually important. If you win, you can only get two wins per day until reset. If you LOSE, you can fight repeatedly with a player that can deliver long fight rounds (50+) and throw snow balls, over and over and over again. Be careful because sometimes this opponent may change their suit and change the outcome. You may need to adjust your gear and it takes a little tinkering. I have enclosed a screenshot of a great example and unlikely “SNOWBALL PARTNER”.

Good luck and happy throwing snowballs and finding Chocolate... next year of course. ?
