No one knows how many reincarnations he has, but as an example, after 14 defeats, his level has grown to 1500, with a HP of 21,377! In other words he grows a hundred levels stronger every time he is defeated.
The only way to keep up with him is to find enhanced eggs that Strange Quark and EB have placed in random locations. Simply patrol the cities and you will eventually come across them.
Editor's note: it has also been found that a good deal of agility debuff or movement steal is a great way to turn the tables when battling Subject One, so if you can, equip your self with gear that can weaken or steal your opponent's movement to increase your chances of winning.
