BEST FIGHTS OF DESERT SURVIVAL ROUND 2
By Todd Goode 12205
Hello folks, this is Wandering Jack out here in a middle of nowhere place we call Malicious Flats. It’s a dry barren wasteland where those who are ill prepared perish. No better place to test the mettle of these leagues of fighters. I got to admit, I thought I was seeing one of them there mirages. That is, until a stray blast hit my ass, Wonkey the Donkey. She walked funny but a danged loyal beast and no better ass around. Some scruffy old feller named Nova apologized a whole lot and said if I did some commentary he would help me get real a nice new ass. Well here I’m is. I missed round one. So I’m gonna tell ya’ll which fights I liked in round two. They was really close ones.
There were a fight in what they call division 2.They were sposed to be some of the stronger bunch of fighters. This one battle was tied for a long while till near close to the end. It was a league called themselves the Angels of Sorcery and they was taking on a league called themselves the Disenchanted Brute Squad. Anyways, they were all tied up at 61 – 61 for the longest until Spankmaster got spanked by Maleficent, makin it 62 – 61. Then a guy named the Adjudicator hit back at a guy called himself Judgement Day to tie it up again. Unfortunately, Dr. Silver Strange Surfer lost his attempt to break the tie as Kid Chaos finishes the Surfer with his Mystic Might in the last seconds of the round. That final score was 63 – 62. Heck of a fight.
In division 7 it was brother against brother as 51AV vs The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead Banker hit Vapor Vandal with a Leftover Frenzy or the turkey move giving the zombies of the Walking Dead the lead. 51AV had a flurry of wins near the end but there were a few too many offensive losses and time runs out on the Ringmaster who nearly got those wins back and take the lead. The final score has the Walking dead slightly edging out their 51AV brothers. 54 – 53. Valiant effort there, Ringmaster.
My last favorite fight of round 2 was Bad Moon Rising vs The Magnificent Seven. That was really a really close one too. Sentential Swordsman defeats the Outlaw Josey Wales, giving Bad Moon Rising 44 but AphrealtheFaeChildGoddessofinnocenceversion3.0 gave up two defense wins before the announcer could get the name out and gives The Magnificent Seven the win 47 – 44. Perhaps a shorter name like, Bill or Jo or Bob. What a mouthful. It was still a danged close fight and I like close fights. Kind of like cold beer next to my mouth after a long hot day in the desert.
Well folks, that’s all Wandering Jack got for today. I might back for round 3. I got some ass to look at. Rest in pieces, Wonkey the Donkey. Danged loyal beast I tell ya.
