Let's talk just a little bit about raids. My favorite raids are Yeti raids. I won't explain why here, just know they are for the purpose of this article. My friend and teammate, Avenger, summons lots of them and the two of us knock them out together. We figured out that 504k damage was usually enough to get all drops, though sometimes missing one. So the goal for each of us is to get 504k+ damage. Unfortunately, that equates to 1,008,000 damage we need to churn out on a raid that only has 1 mill damage available. Avenger usually finishes his 504k damage before I even get to the raid. So that leaves me 496k to try and pull 504k out of. But I manage every time I want to. How?
Believe it or not, it's possible. Is it better equipment, better internet, better finger speed? Actually, it's about going as low performance as possible. I know that sounds counterintuitive, but it works. The trick is getting the slowest internet speed possible. Personally, I go out into the woods where the signal is bad. I take the raid down to 1 hit to kill, fill my energy bank, go into the woods, and rapid-fire click that attack button as much as it will let me. Now, what happens is the bad signal causes the attack commands to all jam up together on a holding pattern till the signal lets them through. Then all those hits come in all at the same time, counting all of them. I have done as many as 20 hits more than I should, as shown in the pictures. This can be the difference between happy returns and disappointment.
