The Hanzo Ninja Clan School Of Anything Goes Martial Arts Presents: Frostuary Exclusive Cards!!!!

Player ID:10950

The Artic Cafe isn't just serving snow cones and hot cocoa. There's gear and powers to be had too. But just how good are they? Let's take a look.

Frostuary Core:
Elemental Core
MAJOR DAMAGE PER ELEMENTAL EQUIPPED + 5
RESIST MAGIC + 35
EPIC RESIST SUPERNATURAL + 30
AMAZING LIFE BONUS 15%
SUPER 1.5X DAMAGE + 10

Morphons: 260
Ice Crystal: 200
Min Level: 20

I find very little value in this core for the cost. It behaves only slightly better than a crystal core and far less than a store bought morphon core. For an additional 75 morphons and no crystals, you can buy one of the better morphon cores from the store. I would advise to pass on this piece of gear entirely. It's just not worth it when there are so many better options out there.

Frosterton Tophat:
Elemental Head
ASTOUNDING ELEMENTAL DAMAGE + 22
ASTOUNDING STUN + 22

Morphons: 122
Ice Crystal: 500
Min Level: N/A
This head gear isn't bad for the free and budget player. It provides solid damage and a good amount of stun for a very fair to the buyer price. It is easily equal to the morphon head gear found in the store. This piece is more for your free and budget player though. Players that have larger budgets and can afford to spin the Nova Shuffle on a regular basis will likely have better options in their inventory already. However, there are few if any head gears available that provide decent damage and stun combined. So it still may have some potential even to the big pay player.

Ice Scooper:
* Can only throw snowballs during Frostuary.
Elemental Arm
SUPER THROW SNOWBALL + 10
SUPER STUN + 10
REMARKABLE WEAKEN FOE BLOCK 8%

Morphons: 12
Ice Crystal: 60
Min Level: 5

If you're trying to throw large amounts of snowballs, you might be considering buying this piece of gear. If you do, BE FOREWARNED that the Weaken Foe Block effect will weaken your opponent's ability to reduce your damage. So, unless your opponents are using my system as detailed in our "Let's Throw Snowballs!!!!" lesson, and have 0 Block already, you're going to be increasing your damage against them with this arm. That will shorten your fights and make it actually harder for you to acquire snowballs.
As far as long term value outside of the Frostuary event, this is a very affordable piece of gear. It isn't as strong as most Nova Shuffle arms, but still provides options for your toon at a great price. It provides both Stun and Weaken Foe Block. Both these effects are very useful to a Leech And Drain Build style. I think, for the price, most players will find this an affordable option to supplement their gear inventory with.

Now, the gear is better for the free and budget player than it is the big budget player. A lot of big budget players, upon 1st inspection, might think to pass on the gear altogether. But there is some value there even for players that already seem to have everything. But if you still decide to pass, there's still something here for you, and really everyone. The power cards are pretty dang solid. They are super cheap and provide solid stats that you normally find in cards 2 and 3 x the Morphon cost. At a tier cost of 10 Morphons, these cards can power your deck up fast for cheap. All of the cards are Attack cards. These cards are especially great for low level players that can't buy the store bought cards that are on par with these cards. All around, I think everyone should be trying to get as many of the best of these cards that they can. I have personally bought 5 of each and a few lots of 5 for "Ice Kinesis". My personal preference is "Ice Kinesis" because it provides the most Move and that is where most of my Skill Points are. If you prefer more Attack, to better be able to hit your opponents and for doing more base damage, then "Oswald Thaddeus Frosterton" may be more the card for you. While it's preferred to put the best cards you can in your deck, if you are still in the process of filling your deck out, you might consider "Icy Breath". It's cheaper than the others, which allows you to buy more of them. But I would only exercise this option if I was desperate for decent Attack cards or I was too low on resources to buy the other options. Remember, all 3 cards tier for only 10 Morphons. So when you tier, you're going to get better value out of the other two cards. I will be spending the remainder of Frostuary trying to acquire as many "Ice Kinesis" as I possibly can.
