Welcome to the Tower of Queen Morkaz, Arch Mage of the Black Moon, Head Priestess of the order of Black. Otherwise known as the Lich Queen of Black. You may address her as Your Highness or Queen Black. I am the Queen’s servant Harald, what business do you have hear?
Well met Sir Harald, my name is Quinn and I hail from Dublin just across the way. The Towns folk have been mighty nervous ever since you and Queen Black arrived last month, so we voted and being on the short side of the straw, hear I am asking. Just what is your business hear and … (Quinn Paused the think for a moment) … How long to you plan on staying? Don’t get me wrong we don’t want any trouble but ever since you showed up people are complaining that the dead aint staying dead!
Well Quinn, Queen Black is not in the business of answering questions from uninvited guests, but I will let you in on a little secret. You see the Queen just awoke herself. During the last new moon something happened. My Queen found herself awake in her tomb with no flesh on her bones, It’s been 1000-years since last she awoke from her slumber. As far as the dead not staying dead that has nothing to do with us. Yes, my Queen did revive her servants and a few guards but what ever it is your town is experiencing it sounds like the same phenomenon that awoke my Highness. Frightened and rushed Quinn went back to Dublin to report the stunning news! As Harald approached the Queens chamber. Morkaz called out, what did that peasant want Harald? Seems the town is having a problem keeping the dead Highness.
Queen Morkaz looked puzzled for a moment before a grin overtook her. Tapping her boney finger against her teeth where her lips used to be she said, perhaps there is another power at work after all. Still, It would be a waist of me not to take advantage of this opportunity. Looks like there is an army to be raised and a city to be ruled. I wonder is there a power out there that can stop me? A maniacal laugh bersted forth from the Queen of Black as she extended her hand out and cracked her knuckles. We shall see dear Harald, we shall see.
