Chaz Hamilton here, bringing you the results from the first round of the Frosty League War. It's nice to be reporting on the activity of our super-powered friends without some type of super-villain or catastrophe on the horizon.
Let's start with the top ranked battle in Division One.
As you can see, ][☣][ WMD - Black Order has continued with its unopposed efforts during League Wars. 5th Precinct Galactic couldn't get a single match, following in the footsteps of the efforts of the match-ups during Haunted Heroes. Their companion team, 5th Precinct: Omniversal Traffic Cops managed to capture a decisive win against the Angels of Sorcery.
In Division 3, ♦ Avengers 5¹ ♦ has achieved a flawless victory, defeating the ᎮᏕყƈɧơ Ꮥϙųąɖ: Ìռנʊֆȶɨƈɛ ㄥέคɠยέ.
Legacy of Spawn, having dropped down a few divisions, is off to a flying leap, making prey out of the ♆SOB♆ HUNTER /KILLERDivision Four is the first of the eight league battles, and it finds Red Guard overpowering the 5th Precinct: Space Force. During Haunted Heroes, the 5th's Space Force was in Division 8. Perhaps they rose too high a bit too fast. The next rounds will tell that story.
‡ ☠Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮☠ ‡ was shown no mercy from the ♦ Avengers 5¹ ♦
‡ ☠SUเCเD€ SQU₳Đ☠ ‡ rode Tygger's Freak Show to a victory in this round.

5th Precinct: Instigators sent the Aussie Freaks packing back to the land down under.
Division Five may have you seeing double.♦ Avengers 5¹ ♦ is fighting another NMDS league, ~ƝMĐŞ~┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐2, in this division with similar results.

The Star Force called the code on 5th Precinct: Code Blue.
~\\\\ PAIN inc. ////~ whipped the I̳l̳l̳i̳t̳e̳r̳a̳t̳e̳ Cₒwbₒy Est.
If you are a fan of 80's TV, the final matchup in Division 5 is right up your alley. The ‡ ₳ ƮΣ₳}v{ ‡ showed no pity to the fools on the 5th Precinct Wise Guys.
This division made me wonder what happened to some of the past leagues not seen in this competition: Several Ghost Warrior leagues, The 1ST SPACEMARINE BATTALION, ~666~ HOR$EMEN OF THE APOCOLYP$E, and a few others. Did the recent rule changes force some of them to find new homes or did they bow out because they were unable to go forward as a whole, or did they just bow out?
Division 6 had some of the closest matches of the day.
This division also had the most 5th Precinct leagues, three of ten under the 5th's umbrella, present. Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ put the 5th Precinct: Night Shift to bed while the next of the six different ♦ Avengers 5¹ ♦ leagues, present in all divisions except for Division 1, pacified the 5th Precinct: Brutality. NobleGates took the mats out of ‡ ☠ ]V[OJ๏'S Đ๏JO ☠ ‡. The closest match of the day went to 5th Precinct Buddy Cops as they went toe-to-talon with the Freaks of Nature.
The final division of the day, Division 7, did have its own unique twist to this battle round.
The highest scoring round went to ‡ ☠ FireFly Fun Haus ☠ ‡ as they went 166 to 1 against the 5th Precinct: Kung Fu Hustle.
The most surprising event of the day is the S7 vs Ͳhe Đevious Đozen. Maybe they got the date wrong? Neither of these teams fought a single battle. That is rather disappointing when you have leagues out there that still wanted to be a part of the challenge.
What will Round 2 bring? Tune in on Monday to watch and see. This has been Chaz Hamilton, bringing you the story from the Space Arena, where so far, there have been no sightings of holiday spirits. With Valentines Day not too far off, and Cupid having left the planet with most of his Mythic family, who knows what that next holiday might involve.
