Time to go to the gym

Todd Goode #12205

Heroes Rising knows you work hard in patrols and sometimes you need a little R’N’R. Now you can have some fun at the new gyms in each patrol zone.

You can get your push-ups in while waiting for your turn at the bench press or play your favorite game in the arcade. Later on, in the evening, you can show off your cooking skills to your friends and prepare them a seven course meal. You know a superhero needs to eat. You’re probably wondering how these gyms work. Well, let me show you the way.

The gyms are located at the bottom of each patrol page. Just click the button and there are several different gyms to visit. Find one you like or need. You can train in all of them. There is more than one way to get in a gym.

You can also enter gyms by using Access tokens that are won in raids or buy them for 15MP when the drop during a patrol. You can only use 2 tokens per day, so be prepared before you enter any gym. Use the correct gym suit and power ups before you go in for the most success. There are currently 10 gyms you can visit.

Sometimes, a gym will come to you while doing patrols. You can train or even become a gym owner. Pick a training type. Bowling for example.

Choose your throw. Choose carefully. The throw you choose can reward +1 +2 or +3 skill points of bowling skill. The more skill you get the easier it will be to take over a gym. The rewards are fairly random.

You can take over a gym if you take your vitamins and improve your skill. You have 3 attempts daily to takeover a gym but only one shot at each gym owner’s gym per day. So if you fail in that attempt you can only train there for the rest of the 24 hour period. You will have to try to take over a different gym.

PLAYER TIP: You can click the close button or ‘X’ out to go back and prepare the proper suit and add the correct boosts.

There are more advantages to going to the gym than just to tighten up that gluteus maximus. If you take over a gym ownership, you can make a small profit when other players visit your gym. You can earn 1 MP from the first 5 players to visit your gym daily. There is also a 10% chance that the visitor’s will earn you a nice power card that will improve your own strength.

If you can hold a gym for a week, that’s 35 free MP a week or at least 35 or more chances of receiving a strong power card per week. It adds up nice but you gotta train hard and be constant and persistent.

Know you know you can make a lil profit; you need to know how to suit up and what skill boosts to use to dress for best success. Look here. I got you some cheat sheets to help you out. Now you can build a suit for each gym and save it with your other builds.

PLAYER TIP:
When the gym comes to you in patrols, train with the middle guy. You can usually win even while not wearing a gym suit and get the +3 skill points added to your gym skill point total.

PLAYER TIP: If you lose your gym takeover bid, your next event will likely be an offer to train that skill. While you still have your suit on, challenge the +4 guy in the gym. You will generally win the points.

PLAYER TIP: Know your gym owner. The highest level player doesn’t always win. What counts the most here is how skilled you are at that gym’s skill. If have collected more, you are likely to win but keep the level gap reasonable. A level 200 probably upset a level 400.

PLAYER TIP: Keep a record of your attempts vs the gym owner n a notebook with player name, suit core, damage, how close the match is. Use it to figure the power gap and work on your suit for next time.

PLAYER TIP: Don’t always try to beat the gym owner. Train and accumulate skill.
