Incoming Message: Director Nova

Director Nova here. I'm currently stationed on one of our orbital bases while Gar keeps a close eye on the ground. Krampus is still on the lose and Santa remains captured. I am getting some reports of heroes attempting to rescue Santa, but most are focusing on Krampus. The situation grows dire as Christmas gets nearer. Both Santa and Krampus are at their natural strongest on Christmas Eve, and we don't need Krampus growing any stronger.

Krampus is also calling for allies, and I dread to think of who would dare side with him. I have been informed that someone or rather something has been in contact with Krampus, offering to ally with him. Watch out, heroes, the fight against Krampus has only begun.

That being said, our only true hope of subduing this villain is to free his arch enemy and our greatest ally, Santa Claus. I need to hear more reports of Santa's rescue. Get to work heroes, Christmas is at stake, not to mention tens of thousands of children's lives.

Nova out...

From Dan

Stories have been coming in from people writing for the contest. Keep them coming. The deadline is less than a week away. Remember, prizes will be given to all who enter. Some of you have focused your stories on fighting Krampus, and they are great stories. However, remember the theme, freeing Santa. You will get your chance to fight Krampus, don't worry about that.

Remember, stories don't have to be pristine and perfect, just fun. Even if you don't think you can write one, if you want to write it, that is enough to get started. Also, if you have written one and it's focus was fighting Krampus, don't worry, you will still receive prizes and be part of the contest. I am thankful for all who tell a story. Everyone has done great so far, keep them coming!
