LEAGUE WARS: DUELS ROUND 2

Good evening, folks. Harry Wankman here for WHRT News reporting on the 2nd round of LEAGUE WARS: DUELS and folks, today, I've seen stuff you wouldn't believe. So many new folks with weird powers, it's enough to make you scratch your head and go, "Huh?" Reminds me of a crazy story about duels ole' Tyler Rager used to tell. I'll tell it the best I can and then get to round 2 results. It goes something like this.

Ladies and gentlemen skinny and scout, I'll tell you a tale I know nothing about. The admission is free so pay at the door. Now pull out a chair and sit on the floor.

On one bright day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. Back-to-back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other.

The blind man came to see fair play. The mute man came to shout hooray. The deaf policeman heard the noise and came to stop those two dead boys.

He lived on the corner, in the middle of the block, in a two-story house on a vacant lot. A man with no legs came walking by and kicked the lawman in his thigh.

He crashed through a wall without making a sound. Into a dry creek bed and suddenly drowned. A long black hearse came to cart him away, but he ran for his life and is still gone today.

I watched from the corner of the table. The only eyewitness to facts of my fable. If you doubt my lies are true, just ask the blind man, he saw it too.

Pretty crazy duels story huh? So were some of these duels battles. Let's check out the results of round 2.

The strongest leagues are in division 1 and the two strongest this day were CHAOS THEORY and WMD NEW ORDER. CHAOS THEORY spread the chaos and crush The Disenchanted Brüte Squad,96-10. WMD - NEW ORDER obliterated the Super Freaks, 142-1. The CHAOS THEORY and WMD is going to be the one to watch in the third round.

In division 2, Colony 5¹ shut down The S.H.O.P. 5¹, 122-15 but watch out for their new guy Nightwing. He's gonna hurt somebody. Outlaws Inc break all traffic laws of 5th Precinct: Omniversal Traffic Cops, 91-35. No tickets given this day and no invites to the policeman's ball because Cops don't have ba... on to division 3 before I get arrested for decent exposure.

Division 3 has the Fortress of Solitude has the CREATURES OF THE NIGHT searching for some light where there is none. Night falls, 127-25 and the Super Freak Squad get freaky on the 5Th Precinct: Omniversal Guardians. The Guardians take the loss, 127-90.

The SERAPHIM ANGELS and Aussie Freaks had a super close battle but the Angels shine with a 56-54 victory. Battle Born was born to battle and it shows. They destroy The Justice League 111-16. Nice round division 4.

In division 5, Outlaws Inc 2 put an end to the SOB HUNTER /KILLER's hunt for gold with a 109-14 victory. BAD MOON RISING de-wing the Angels Of Sorcery, 76-44. Bad Moon, Bad Moon.

Stacked Deck were immune to the INFECTED and survive this division 6 battle with an 82-70 win. INFECTED almost had that dollar, got a be a little faster. Avengers 5¹ Walking Dead bite hard and Tygger’s Freak Show loses by a tail, 50-3. That was Pooh pun.

In division 7, PAIN inc bring the pain to the SOB SOCIETY OF MEMBERS OF DISMEMBERED, 95-23 and B๏wtie Karaoke sing sing sing while they shut down The W.a.r.e.h.o.u.s.e, 41-17.

In division 8, ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ detonate all over the Freak Frequency, 66-7. Geez, I hope they got some fresh towels. The Freaks of Nature out freak the New Freaks. 129-29.

The SOB MEAT LOCKER rack some ribs at the MacGregors in division 9 and take the win, 50-0. The PRIDE OF LIONS feels the SUFFERING's power. The lions sleep tonight, 23-8.

In division 10, ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ 2 go boom on The King's Gambit, 29-0. ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ 3 overthrow the SOB OVERLORD, 37-25.

In division 11, Barbarianz are a no show verses the LOST SOULS. Barbarianz lose 22-0. 9PLANETS ORBITING win vs a forfeiting RAIDERS, 36-0.

In round 2, division 12, we see the SURFERS hang ten while H.E.A.T Team 1: Hazerdous Environment Assault Teams didn't even make it to the beach. SURFERS win, 28-0. The SPIRITS take the win from The SCAVENGERS OF WASTLAND who also don't seem to like the beach, 7-0.

In division 13, H.E.A.T Team 2: Hazerdous Environment Assault Teams rub out Spex on the Beach with 47-14 win and the SOB:NEST OF VIPERS strike a poisonous blow to FREE CITY. 24-2.

In the leagues of division 14, Team Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Fan and Sword and Krew of Konquest went hard in battle but there will be no conquest for Konquest tonight, they lose by a small margin of 26-23. Despite the name, turns out, the Bridge to Nowhere lead to a Los Jefes loss, 61-50. Two very close battles. Good show. Good show.

Last but not least, in division 15, Ivalice Alliance steal the color from Kolor Krew,12-10. Va Va Voom get the big bite from TEAM COBRA, 7-0. Tempest Forged win over BYE bye birdy by forfeit, 24-0 and the best battle of division 15 was Sextant Knights over What you thought you were the only one? by only one win. The Knights take the W, 35-34. Keep that action going into round 3.

LEAGUE WARS: DUELS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 3 HIGHLIGHTS

Good evening, folks. Harry Wankman here for WHRT News reporting on LEAGUE WARS: DUELS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 3. I'll showcase some highlights and gold medal winners but before I do I want to thank everyone for their participation and battle entertainment on the first ever Duels style league wars. Bravo Zulu - Well Done.

In reverse order from bottom to top, here are my top five highlight championship battles.

In division 15, SoulSoar, Fran of the Viera and Basch fon Ronsenberg of Ivalice Alliance make a valiant effort to take back the lead but Dread Algon, Baroness and BIG BOA of TEAM COBRA beat them like some G.I.s in training in a close battle, 44-41. Congratulation on gold TEAM COBRA.

The division 13 teams of SOB:NEST OF VIPERS and Spex on the Beach put on an impressive show but them Vipers bite hard and fast and Spex on the Beach ran out of anti-venom. VIPERS win 36-21. Congratulation on gold to the SOB:NEST OF VIPERS.

The top combatants of division 11, 9PLANETS ORBITING and LOST SOULS fight it out but the LOST SOULS get lost in all them planetary orbits and crash to earth, 63-55. Congratulation on gold to the 9PLANETS ORBITING.

In division 9, SOB MEAT LOCKER came close to putting an end to all SUFFERING but a few too many offensive losses by MEAT LOCKER make that impossible and SUFFERING does what SUFFERING does. They make MEAT LOCKER suffer the loss, 57-49. Congratulation on gold to SUFFERING.

In what was probably the most anticipated battle of LEAGUE WARS: DUELS. We have the division 1 teams of CHAOS THEORY and WMD NEW ORDER. With all the war banter between these two leagues, most wondered who would take the gold in this championship battle. No one would know until near the very end. There would be a lot of back and forth for the lead, but I believe what may have been one of the better strategic moves happened in the first few moments of round 3. It seems CHAOS THEORY may have played a little opossum and taken some sacrifice losses by the World Snake and the Avenger to the Wizards of WMD and changed WMDs play strategy. If the Wizards took down these two monsters, surely the rest of CHAOS would be a piece of cake, easy as pie, right? Turns out CHAOS pie makes for a lot of defensive wins from WMD. WMD would catch a share of def wins as well but CHAOS would garner near 65 def wins, most from Stinkfist, Damon and Death Punch. All three are excellent players but, those sacrificed battles by the World Snake and Avenger may have led to a false sense of security on WMDs part causing them to tilt when they should have yielded. That's what it looked like to this old reporter, but I could be wrong. I was wrong once, a long time ago, a bunch of times but regardless, CHAOS THEORY would take the win and the gold, 119-64. Congratulation on gold to CHAOS THEORY.

Congratulations to all the other gold medalists in each division. They put on a great show as well. Here they are:

In division 2, Colony 5¹ send the 5th Precinct: Omniversal Traffic Cops back to Driver's Ed with a 144-25 victory for the gold. Congratulation on gold to Colony 5¹.

The battle for division 3 gold was between Fortress of Solitude and the 5Th Precinct: Omniversal Guardians. Solitude need no guards and take the gold, 160-41. Congratulation on gold to Fortress of Solitude.

In division 4, Battle Born take all the shrimp off the barbie as well as the gold from the Aussie Freaks, 74-22. Congratulation on gold to Battle Born.

In division 5, Outlaws Inc shoot down the sorcery of the Angels Of Sorcery. No spell strong enough against Outlaws Inc. Congratulation on gold Outlaws Inc on an 73-36 victory.

The Avengers 5¹ Walking Dead and Stacked Deck face off for gold in division 6. Avengers 5¹ Walking Dead don't play no cards when there's a Stacked Deck, they just cut the deck and take the win, 86-19. Congratulation on gold to the Avengers 5¹ Walking Dead.

In division 7, PAIN inc bring the pain to The W.a.r.e.h.o.u.s.e and take home the gold. The W.a.r.e.h.o.u.s.e gets burned to the ground, 54-13. Congratulation on gold to PAIN inc.

The ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ and New Freaks of division 8 get it on to see who takes the gold. The New Freaks couldn't get their freak on this round and ᗷOᗰᗷ❌take the gold.89-11. Congratulation on gold to ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ.

In division 10, the ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ 2 pulled the SOB OVERLORD det cord and take-home gold, 30-9. Congratulation on gold to the ᗷOᗰᗷ❌Sᑫᑌᗩᗪ 2.

In division 12, SPIRITS overtake H.E.A.T Team 1 Hazerdous Environment Assault Teams, 30-0 for the gold medal and belt. Congratulation on gold to SPIRITS.

The last gold medal battled was between Los Jefes and Team Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Fan and Sword. Los Jefes bend Team Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Fan and Sword's will and win, 30-9. Congratulations on gold to Los Jefes.

Well folks, that concludes the wrap up on all the gold medal winners for LEAGUE WARS: DUELS. Congratulations on all the gold, silver and bronze winners. Every league fought hard and entertained the masses. Special thanks to Justin Towe and his team for bringing a new style battle to us. Duels is a very interesting a different style of fight, but everyone did great for this inaugural battle.
