Avatar Events: Who are the Masters of these Challenges?

 Chaz Hamilton, here with an update on current events in the world of our heroes.

Ever since the giant robot battle in Las Vegas, there have been unusual “avatars” showing up across the world. Heroes have been called to fight and prove themselves worth of different mantles of battle prowess in special events.

First, there was the call to the space arena to fight for the Master of Tech. The avatar spoke about testing the strength of heroes to find out who used his gifts best. A green glow surrounded the heroes of our world and their might increased as the technological aspects of their powers surged. 

At the end of this test, multiple heroes came out of the fight more powerful than before.
All of the following heroes seemed to have a bit more of the power of the giant robot infused into them.

Next, at one of the Fight Clubs sponsored by BADGE, a maned combatant showed up, calling itself the Avatar of Strength. This being called forth combatants to display their physical strength, and many heeded the call to arms. Their eyes glowing red from boosts to their physical proficiencies and another event challenge began.

Completing this challenge seemed to grant a boon in the physical ability of many of these heroes as well, seemingly gaining heightened combative prowess.

Currently, there is another avatar promoting an event to find its most capable supplicants. The Avatar of the Mind has shown up in libraries and other meccas of higher learning seeking its best and brightest. Heroes of higher intellect are fighting it out currently for top marks in this new challenge.

Several heroes have come out as the top in both the previous event challenges, gaining the benefits from both avatars. I can’t help but wonder the consequences if any of these heroes will achieve dominance in each of the spheres embodied by the avatars. If they do, what will that mean? 

It is very rare that such gifts do not come with an unexpected price at the end.
