The announcement stunned people around the world. Like the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expected League Wars so soon after the last installment of the ever-popular event.
While Director Nova hasn’t made a formal announcement yet of the games, there are new rules for league formations this time around. To register, all members (minimum of 7, maximum of 12) must be at least 50% the average level of all league members. (If the average of all your members is level 100, then your lowest level member must be at least level 50).
Get out your calculators, because my head is already starting to hurt trying to wrap my mind around the arithmetic. “A level 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, and 10 hero each walk into a bar. Can they form a league? (The answer would be NO).”
Furthermore, divisions are determined by the average of the 6 highest level league members. This could also skew past calculations for estimated placement in certain divisions.
It may not be a whole new ball of wax, but the wax may at least be on fire this go around. I estimate that there will be some alterations needed to many of the leagues who participated in the past.
Will past rivalries continue? Are there new rivalries waiting to show up on the battlefield? What new allegiances will be formed?
There have already been boasts shared, claiming that Division 2 would be captured by one league in particular (I cannot say who at this time as I do not know what name they will register under), but last league war, Division 2 through 7 were all dominated by the Avengers 51 family of teams.
In teams likely to be in Division 1, it has been noted that well-known participant, Midgarsormr, isn’t currently with the WMD!!! The Great Serpent has been seen with the Angels of Sorcery. Will this have an impact on Division 1? We will know in a few weeks.
League Wars: Egg-Celsior is going to provide an excellent challenge for your heroes. There are many new leagues showing up in the lower levels, such as ♦ AVENGERS 2¹ ♦ MINI, RO¢K 'Ñ' WRʧƬLÏÑG Ç0ÑÑÊ¢ƬÏOÑ, and MACGREGORS!! What new leagues will be created as heroes regroup to meet the new regulations? Will some old, inactive leagues return?
