Don't Celebrate Alone

By Starmaster

As players of Heroes Rising, none of us started playing on the same day at the very same time. Spread across the weeks of many calendars, each of us has tested one another in battle, stood side-by-side in raids, done missions, and spent time in the Fight Clubs, gaining experience and levels.

As Starmaster, I just fought and completed the quest for winning 5000 attacks a few days ago. Today, I am at this moment, I am at 2381/2400 experience. That means with my next fight, I will reach Level 100. WOOT! Only I knew about these achievements. While the Morphon bonus was very nice for completing the quest, I have to admit, hitting Level 100 almost became just another level increase until I decided to have some fun with it.

I'm going to put a challenge out to you all, the other players of Heroes Rising. If you know you are going to reach a milestone or notable event with your character, record the battle and share it on the Heroes Rising Page.

If you do not know how to share a battle, let me guide you on how I do it on my laptop. If you are in the Fight Club, after you fight an opponent and return to the arena, you have a choice on the screen to [Replay Victory] or [View Defeat]. I 'right click' on the selected the option, hopefully being [Replay Victory] and I copy the link. After that, I paste it to a post where I would like to share it. If I do a standard battle, I can find the link to the battle on the main page under FEUDS and copy the permalink listed in the box.

Even if you cannot share the link to the battle, post something so the rest of the players can celebrate your success with you. This is a social game, so please try to keep the SOCIAL element alive by doing your part. In real world terms, nobody will show up to your party if you don't send out invitations first.

And this also means that if you see another players post about hitting a goal important to them, take a second and say "Good Job" or "Congratulations". In a game dependent on having friends for powers, take a moment to tap into your power of comradery to show your support for a fellow player.

If you are feeling particularly creative, you could even take a few minutes to scribe a few paragraphs about who the battle was against, why it happened, and create some fan-fiction to share. Share it in the Fiction Forum of These City Streets and you could potentially earn a Reality Writer Power Card worth 10 Morphons.

Whew. That was quite a fight. Thanks Captain Ultra for going toe to toe against me. I had a blast. I see you have posted a background story in the Fiction Forum. Maybe we can team up and write a story about why two heroes were in Waukegan and came to blows in the Fight Club.

Keep leveling heroes, you're not in it alone.

Until the next raid,
Starmaster
