As the heroes fought in the Tug of War: Focus vs Fury Challenge, several of them offered these thoughts on how they would enhance their abilities through the discipline they practiced. Here are their comments:
Glacier 12205. –“In a Tug of War Challenge, one side battles
the other for greatness and added power. You can have Fury but it is
unpredictable. You will fight passion and vigor but without Focus you are
likely to fall. Only with Focus such as I, Glacier, have can you defeat your
opponent with the swiftness of a precision instrument of death. I inhale a deep
breath and prepare to make my strike, as I draw the moisture from the air that
surrounds you. You begin to shake from the coldness that envelopes you. You
cannot move as I approach you. It only takes one touch and you are frozen in
fear and your screams become muffled as you become froze solid in a flash. As I
take my icy hand away, you explode into tiny chunks of frozen flesh from my
cryogenic frostbite. With one strike you are defeated. You never stood a
chance.”
Gatekeeper ID 20314 – “Focus, commitment, and sheer will.
The plan walk in eliminating everything in sight that moves. One blow to end it
all, the fast pace of war is no match for a battle that was fought before it
began. Focus on the goal commit to overcoming any obstacle in your path. Will
power is unmatched when completely focused on one thing and one thing only...
Fight.
Vivacious Vixen ID: 20791 - “A free built toon here in
division 5. I participate in all events, wars, etc.. I have also been very
lucky. Gift exchange and such. I feel this is the pinnacle of what a free built
can achieve. P.s I have close to 500 mp's. Was thinking about turning one of my
boots in + 10% move & + 10 damage for 77 mps. Then buying the boot for +
10% + 100 life out of the store. Any suggestions? Oops wondered off topic.
(sorry) I will destroy my competition with my sonic powers. Also defend with my
mental powers! So beware people/ victims on the other team!”
M@D M@X #21161 –“fighting with a burst of fury came in
with minutes to spare swinging for the fences just hard enough to qualify for
the next round at that. A little burst of fury adding to the inferno that rages
in the kiln of despair. This extra boost in movement makes the next strike a
little bit more unpredictable 
. Time to pile on
the oil-soaked wood and close the door and prepare for the heat. Fury has been
unleashed…”

harness the power of the sun , and burn his foes to a twitching crisp !”
