The Hanzo Ninja Clan School Of Anything Goes Martial Arts Holiday Special 2021 Double Feature PART DEUX!!!!

How To Build An HQ For Free!!!!

Many of you have heard of or even use alts. Alts are secondary toons to your main toon and can be divided into 2 categories, Minis and Utility Alts. A Mini is simply another toon a player plays aside from their original toon, and is usually treated nearly as well as a player's Main toon. Utility Alts are toons who only serve to help your Main toons and Minis. Generally, they are used to gather resources to help your other toons out. The Utility Alt we'll be talking about in particular is the Energy Alt. Our main focus will be on using it to build your HQ for free, but will also touch on other benefits as well.

The Energy Alt puts ALL of its Skill Points into Energy. It levels as quickly as it can. It's main purpose is to gather Morphons, Crystals, and Bux to build the HQ, with the main focus being on Morphons. When building one from scratch, you'll discover it won't let you assign Skill Points to Energy manually, until a certain level. That's fine. Just save your Skill Points till then.

Now, if you build your Energy Alt from scratch, and I advise you do, you'll get 250 Morphons just for confirming your Email and Password. So just starting a few of these will quickly net you plenty of Morphons to get your HQ started.

Morphons can be collected through leveling, (something the Energy Alt is very good at) doing Missions and Patrols, doing events, fighting Boss and Mini Boss Rematches, Fight Club, Daily Login and Daily Missions, and Landmark Fight Rewards.

Now, for the record, I have an Energy Alt that has 756 Energy storage. He could have more, but I have a small amount of Skill Points in Movement. His current level is 382. It takes 7600 Experience Points to reach the next level. Now, let's look at these numbers from the moment I reached this level. Let's assume that my Experience Points were 0 when I reached this level.

I immediately have 756 Energy for a minimum of 756 Experience Points, but more likely >900. We'll go with the 900 because it's closer to accurate.

At 7600 Experience needed to level up again, I'm now down to 6700 instantly. I still haven't done my fights, which for this toon average around >50 Experience Points per fight, for another minimum 700 Experience, bring me down to 6000.

To be fair, these numbers are very conservative. I usually clear 25% of my Experience Points to level each time I level, just by spending my fights and energy refill I get from leveling. And it's an even better ratio the lower level your alt is. If I pay attention to this alt, I can level it 2 or 3 times a day and gather as much as 300 Morphons a day to spend on the HQ. More if I use enough of the right cons. Mayor CJ leveled a new toon to level 70 within just a few days.

Also, don't forget your gifts, which give you an additional 48 fights and 420 Energy. And with larger Energy storage, you can cash in more Energy gifts at once and speed through the process of spending them faster.

Because Energy Storage is high, and leveling up gives you a full tank, you can rip through missions at a rapid rate. This includes fighting Boss and Mini Boss Rematches. When a City Mission opens up, my main Energy Alt can clear the city and any Boss Rematches he can beat in a single day. This adds both Morphons from winning and cards and gear that can be kept or sold for more Morphons and Crystals.

Because you are leveling up so quickly and gaining more fights each level up, you quickly rack up fight milestone rewards, worth considerable sums of Morphons.

Now, add in cons and you can start taking your alt's leveling into Ludicrous Speed. There are Experience Cons that increase your Experience gain by 50%, 100%, even 200%. As long as the cons you use aren't exactly the same cons, with the exact same effects, they stack. So if you had 1 each of the 3 above, for a total of + 350%, 1 Experience Point would be worth 4.5 Experience Points. That's huge. Now remember, normally, when I level up my alt, between fights and energy consumption, I clear around 25% of the Experience requirements to reach the next level. But we just increased our Experience by 4.5x. We are now in perpetual motion leveling for as long as those cons are running. You can level as fast as your fingers can click. Now add in a Red Cape con............. And by using a Red Cape con, you have an excess of 20 extra Morphons that can net you 4 Energy Refills, if you feel the need to use them. Use your gift cons to round out level ups when you near the end of one.

As you collect power cards through game play and events, save them. Between those and your Bux cards, you'll be able to beat stronger and stronger opponents, be they NPCs or player toons, for bigger and better rewards, as well as increase your ability to level faster through tougher opponents. In a pinch, these cards act as a bank you can use to quickly gather Morphons by selling your cards. But remember, selling your cards weakens the alt and makes future growth more difficult. So only sell your cards when you are desperate to get another level or builder on your HQ.

You also need Crystals. An Energy Alt can rip through Fight Clubs in minutes. If Crystals are needed for your HQ, you can sacrifice energy in Fight Club to gain them quickly. Because your alt is fairly weak, it isn't going to win a lot of match ups at first. As it gets higher and higher level though, and collects more cards and gear, it will win more and more. Fight Club gives out 2 Crystals per Energy spent for every fight won. Now, you have 2 choices. You can fight only the fights you can win, saving your Energy for elsewhere like Missions or Patrols, or you can sacrifice your energy for higher Crystal gains. By attacking all the opponents you would lose to 1st, you lose that energy and thus those Experience Points, BUT when you then attack the ones you can beat, you'll get more Crystals. For example, let's say you can only beat 1 opponent in a Fight Club. If you attack that opponent first for 1 Energy, you will get 2 Crystals. If you attack all the other opponents 1st and the only 1 you could beat last, the because the final opponent costs 30 Energy to fight, you get 60 Crystals. You lose a lot of Energy in the process, but sometimes it's worth it.

By leveling quickly, you also reach the upper Carrier options quicker. This allows you to build a cash cow for your Main and Minis really fast.

Because this alt is quickly high level AND super weak for its level, it can be used to gain easy experience through fights for leveling. So it acts both as a Cash Cow and an Experience Cow. If the alt is still too strong due to levels, not only can it be stripped of gear, but the Power Cards can also be loaned out to the HQ Sentinel, reducing the alt's stats to 0.

By having your leaguemates work together to build Energy Alts and gather resources, you should be able to knock them out rather quickly. Good luck and have fun. Building these alts is actually quite fun and gives you something to do while you slow level your real toons.

******DEFENDING YOUR NEW HQ!!!!******

Recently, Justin made some changes to HQs to make them more defensible. I'll directly quote him here:

"Buildings that are level 2 and below can not be attacked

Max attacking range is now capped at +/- 50 of your current LHQ Level

As it previously stood, a league can not attack a league whose HQ is less than 3/4 their HQ or more than double their HQ. So a level 100 LHQ can only attack a league level 75 - 200. In the new system, it is capped at +/- 50, so they can only attack 75 - 150. So a A level 200 LHQ can only attack a level 150 - 250.

LHQ Sentinel permanently increases in power everytime it is defeated

So even a weak little baby sentinel will one day grow big and strong"

Furthermore, players can only make attacks against HQs 10x a day. That's each toon, not each team.

Even though parameters around which leagues could attack your HQ and vice versa have tightened, that still doesn't leave your HQ safe from attack. What can you do if a stronger team decides to target you?

Guess what? You have an Energy Alt that now comes in handy in 2 ways.

1st, all teams have a 12 toon capacity, but most don't fill beyond the LWs membership requirements. That leaves empty spaces. You can park your alt on your team and let it gather Gear and Power cards for your Sentinel. Since it no longer needs to donate its gathered Morphons and Crystals towards building the HQ, it can instead buy and tier powers and gear with them. When the time comes for LWs, you can simply boot the alt from your team and return it after.

Another way to use this alt to defend your HQ is through League Average manipulation. When it comes to HQs, only the 4 highest level toons count towards the HQ League Average, or Sentinel level. So if you have 4 really high level alts, whose levels are far above the real league members levels, that you can add or subtract from the team, you can quickly adjust your League Average so that your attacker is no longer in range of your League without making adjustments of their own.

So, let's say your 4 highest level players are each level 100. Your HQ level is also 100. Your level 100 opponent team launches an attack against your HQ, but you have 4 level 300 Energy Alts you add to your team. Now your HQ is level 300 and out of your opponent's range. Once the coast is clear, or as needed due to other threats or circumstances, the alts can be removed and added again later as needed.

In a pinch, you can always ask stronger players to temporarily join your team to defend your HQ. It takes 24 hours before a player that has just joined a team can attack an opponent HQ, but they can defend immediately.

If moving your HQ up in levels is out of the question, you can always hide an HQ in the lower levels by using a micro level holder alt. That means you won't be able to use it, but if you need to save it for LWs, your opponent is relentless, and you just don't have the time to spend playing cat and mouse with them, then this is a potential option. The lowest level an HQ and its Sentinel can be is level 10. A sentinel has 10,000 natural Life. No toon that can reach down and hit is doing 10,000+ damage, especially to a Sentinel that is properly geared. That HQ is safe until such time as you come to claim it for use again.

When defending your HQ, you can defend an infinite number of times by launching your defensive attacks from the HQ Attack Logs page. Get familiar with this page. It lets you know who is a current threat to you and who your team might be threatening.
