Yesterday, the Mediocre Pumpkin, the Spirit of Halloween, attacked the BADGE orbital space station and the Space Arena and Director Nova called out for help. 

Around 300 heroes flew over, some on broomsticks, to challenge this latest foe to the safety and security of the planet Earth. 

I am so pleased to report that they are doing FAN-TASTIC. It appears that they have been very successful in their fight against the Spirit of Halloween, blowing out his interior candle and leaving him a unhappy gourd. 

Current reading show his power waning, down to 15% of his starting power levels.

Does that mean the battle is over? No. I hate to be a doom sayer, but it is almost too easy. He has taken a lot of beatings but every horror movie has the same ending, don't they? The villain never truly dies at the end. They have one last resurgence of power and continue on, drawing on their hate or some other source of dark power. 

My word of caution is don't trust the win. Pay attention to the rules. Always double tap, heroes. Always double tap.
