The RAID goes on...The RAID goes on...

We are nearing the start of the second day of battle against the Spirit of Halloween. The good news is the seasonal force has continued to suffer losses to its energy matrix, down by 68%. The bad new is there is still over 30% to go and the spirit is summoning every creature or nightmarish fiend identified with the season to fight back against them.

Thank the powers that be that nobody had made a movie about a Cthulhu Godzilla Xenomorph yet!!! Midgardsormr might ask it out for coffee.

Other heros have taken the time to comment on the ongoing battle. There seems have been some shift in the battle at one point, and heros who were doing well seemed to lose some of their punch while others gained momentum on their swings.

Needless to say, even if there has been difficulty in this fight, our heroes haven't given the Spirit of Halloween an inch when it comes to the battle all around us. I've been able to watch much of the activity from the BADGE Operations Center on the cameras, and there have been some frightful encounters.

• Slayer B.A.S. has been engaged in battle with the entire cast of the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, and the manifestation of Paul Rueben's Amilyn has exceeded his earlier death scene efforts.
• ♦C♦R♦E♦E♦P♦S♦H♦O♦W♦ has been challenged by the Cryptkeeper to a Fright Fest of haunted nightmares
• Animated packets of McDonalds condiment sauces are trying to dunk ][☣][Hot Wings][☣][
• Cadaverdog is being tormented by corpses that want their body parts back.
• ♦PhantomAmongPhantoms♦ is being serenaded by the Phantom of the Opera
• Crossroads and Crossbones are having it out with an army of Leatherfaces wielding chainsaws
