Trick-or-Treating is well underway here on the streets of Heroes Rising. I must say, I've found the activity very, very interesting. Every hero is giving away something, but as always, you have those who give away those horrible black, orange, or white unknown blobs of goo candies and those who give away full-sized Wonka bars.
So far, I have seen heroes skipping away from some houses with Morphons, large bags of Bux, and some pretty sweet Power Cards. There are even some heroes who have been posting signs outside of their houses or on the Players Page to lure people in.
Mayor CJ has placed a Crown of Arcadia, Hoverboard Boots, Powerlock Rings, and cases of 5 Million dollars in his candy bowl. I think it must be an election year.
Skelanimal must be back on the planet and his candy bowl has packages of 70 Morphons (which I have to wonder if he stole from the BADGE laboratories while he was aboard the space station. I mean, who keeps those sitting around the house), High Kicks gear, and Gloves of Hephaestus. I would be willing to bet he is after at least one Jack's Icy Glare headgear.
Shinobi has included gear pieces and 1 Million bux. If you haven't seen his costume yet, be sure to check it out and LOVE it. He did a great job with his entry in the costume contest, as did many others, but I think he nailed it.
Hot Wings has shared he is out to make some player's year by offering some extra-sweet rewards. The generosity of some heroes is OUTSTANDING, but also a bit shocking. What must I still have if I were willing to give away a few Drachen Feuer Helms, High Kicks, and Shaman Bell Knee Braces.
For newer players, some of the items being handed out are only available one time in Nova's Mystery Shuffle. These pieces of gear would be worthy of going on the Antiques Road Show and be considered big ticket items.
I've also seen some POWERFUL Power Cards being given away. Gold Mission reward cards from zones many have not been able to visit yet. A Thunder Strike (also only available in the Shuffle). A Summon Plants Power Card (I don't know where that came from, but the recipient is very please with it).
I highly recommend that all players, especially new players get out there and vote... Sorry... get out there and TRICK-OR-TREAT as much as possible. Not only does it benefit the people giving items away, but it is fun to see what goodies you might walk away with.
If you are below level 40, this is a great opportunity to snag some Crystal cards that will help you save your money, or some higher level cards that will be much better than what are currently available for you to buy.
Higher level character, not only is it a good way to clean house (or your inventory), it will help give some poor, lowly level characters a nice boost to their capabilities. Thank you for your generosity and good luck getting that Jack's Icy Glare.
Keep knocking on doors people. Enjoy the event, because I think everyone is going to come out a winner on this one!!!
