Creating A Buyer Group

The “Buyer Groups” are a relatively new option in HR and its usage is increasing within the game. Buyer Groups give players the ability to participate in a group buy without leaving their league and anonymity in which a quickly thrown together League Buy cannot do. The number of those wanting to organize Buyer Groups is increasing. The following information has been created to assist individuals within HR that would like to learn how to organize Buyer Groups.

Creating “Buyer Groups”

1. Select  “Morphon”

2. At the bottom of the page select “Buyer Groups”

3. Create New Buy Group

4. Create Buy Group. You must enter “Group Name:” and “Motto:” Then select “Create Buy Group”

Tips to Reduce Issues: 

-Create a NEW Buyer Group for every buy. Dissolve the buyer group after every problem free conclusion. The fewer groups on your “Buy Group” reduces the chance of user error. 

-Create a separate FB chat group, and provide instructions for every buy. Remind the group what type of buy they are involved with: “League Buy” or “Buyer Group”. If there are inexperienced players involved, provide step by step instructions. Verify each other’s purchases. Delete the chat group at the conclusion of a buy. 

-New buyers should purchase first. This is in case there are issues with their method of payment. 

FAQs:

Does having more members in the group increase payout? 

NO. Having more members in the group does not increase the number of morphons received. 

What is the total amount of morphons for a $100, $200, $300 group?

If everyone in the group contributes an equal amount, the number of morphons received are 

$100 = 6500 Morphons

$200 = 13,300 Morphons

$300 = 20,500 Morphons

Which group buy is the best value?

Once again, if everyone in the group contributes an equal amount, the best value would be the $300 purchase per group member. The MPS/$ is as follows:

$100 = 65 MPS/$

$200 = 66.5 MPS/$

$300 = 68.33 MPS/$

What is the difference between a “League Buy” and “Buyer Group”? 

To participate in a League Buy, you are required to be in the same league. You are not required to leave your league to participate in a Buyer Group. However, the minimum level for Buyer Group participation is Level 20. Those under level 20 will need to purchase on their own or participate in a League Buy.
