" Heroes, our efforts to gather the remaining ruby shards have come short. We were successful in gathering 95% of the shards. I am pleased with the efforts, but our enemy having any of these concerns me. The power they hold and the reason he wants them are still a mystery to BADGE. Though our mission wasn't a complete success, heroes were able to obtain new powers through the strange energies emitted from these shards.
The situation is bad still. If we had been able to obtain all of the shards, we might have put a stop to Krampus' plans. However, since he has some of the shards, his drive to complete whatever he is doing will only be that much worse. It will take all the strength of BADGE to keep those shards safe until we can figure out what is going on.
This may have not been a complete success, but it is far from a failure. We have stopped Krampus before and we will do so again."
