You have likely been to the Heroes Rising Players' Page. It is one of many pages created for players of the game. The newest page, Heroes Rising Heroeswood, looks to provide a new avenue for players to interact.
Described by creator Trace Evans as "Hollywood for Heroes Rising players", Heroeswood wants players to break that 4th wall and step out of the game with their characters and interact with one another through video.
The goal isn't for top notch, perfect representations of the characters, but the attitude and spirit behind them. You don't need have a costume or cosplay gear, but it is an option you are welcome to use. All you need is some creative inspiration and a lack of fear to try. If you have a notion of what you would like to do, but don't know how to do it, ask other members in Heroeswood. They may be able to help you bring your idea to life.
The goal isn't to dazzle with your skill. We aren't professionals (I know I'm not). It is the idea behind the presentation. A means by which to exhibit something creative, funny, or demonstrative of you or your character outside typing messages on a Facebook page.
Trace Evans put out the idea of doing wrestling-style videos, trash talking opponents or leagues, as one example of the material Heroeswood is looking for. There are many other opportunities out there. How would you like to see your character represented? Show us. Get in on the ground floor of this new aspect to the game.
Use your laptop or camera on your smart-device. Record a message challenging that opponent you hate to face in the Fight Club. Use your video editing skills to create a live-action version of your character's superpowers. A Robot-Chicken style video sketch with plastic figurines. Have fun with it. Try something you haven't done before. It's probably easier than you think.
While content might include bragging, smack-talking, and other machismo, Heroeswood respects your efforts and does kindly request that comments left on player's efforts are kept positive and constructive.
There are rewards for trying. Read the post on the topic here:
