Today we're going to talk a bit about average levels, and also avoiding division 1 while still leveling as you please.
You probably see a lot of big organizations talking about sandbagging, or having fingers pointed at them for it. Sandbagging is a strategy where you have low level accounts in a league with high levels, to lower their average and drop divisions where the fights are easier. Or more specifically, avoid divisions where they wouldn't be considered "strong".
It is tough to make work super effectively, because the 2 lowest level teammates don't affect your league average at all. To actually use this strategy to win a championship usually means, either the high side or the low side, had a heftier mp budget than their competition.
Obviously some groups can do this on a large scale, because they have a lot of heroes at their disposal. However, there is no reason that any league couldn't make use of the same strategy.
First, I would suggest that everyone who plans to level a lot to increase their power, have access to a second account.
When you think about your leagues average levels, consider if each of you had access to a second lower level account. Now these accounts could be added in or removed to affect your level. This would allow you to move up and down divisions to find wherever you might consider, The Sweet Spot!
Now when I say "second account" most people would immediately think of making a fake profile, which would work, but can be annoying sometimes. HR's developers have done us a huge favor, and coded in a way to log into the game without going through Facebook, using an email address/password. Unfortunately for now, without access to Facebook and a friend list, the only way to increase your team size is by purchasing henchmen with morphon particles. This does work though, just keep remembering to increase that team size.
I still think the easiest thing to do, is in some way have a second account. I would look at using someone else in your household's Facebook account to log into heroes Rising. This would create a second hero, without a second account of your own. Now this won't guaranteed championships, it's probably not going to change the world of Heroes Rising for your league, but it may make a league war more fun.
Now if you have interest in allying yourself with a friendlier, championship winning organization, with its eye on the next superior strategy. Look up TheCloser, and let's discuss where the 5th Precinct would put you in the next tourney.
