First Encounter - Drift had just finished work while walking down the
street when suddenly seemingly out of nowhere a gang of Legion
approached him. Drift all alone knew this could mean trouble. The
leader of the Legion gang said "join us or die now".
Surrounded and out numbered Drift thought he did not have much of a
choice as fighting them surely will not go well, with hesitation he
reluctantly said "so be it" and joined the Legion gang. Not
far away was the Legion spacecraft and off they went to the their
home Planet X taking Drift with them.
Arrival
at Planet X was not a friendly one. Drift was initiated,
interrogated, and tortured beyond belief. The Legion was trying to
turn Drift in to an evil Super Villain, however Drift knew and had
experience from his former training to not give in and never give up.
S.E.R.E. - Survive, Evade, Resist, Escape was his ulterior motive. He
also had experience at performing and executing secret missions such
as infiltration and remaining undetected in enemy territories while
conducting operations and gathering intelligence.
Days
and weeks past while the Legion was slowly trusting Drift and giving
him more freedom and responsibility. One day while Drift was working
at the info-center he had discovered some crucial information, and
knew this was his way out. He found a wormhole location that could
send him back to Earth. This particular wormhole is a
multi-dimensional pathway. He made a plan, and one day all was clear
with less security around, he made the escape.
Drift
went through the wormhole and arrived at Earth in an area called Area
51.
Going
through the wormhole took almost all the energy and power Drift had.
Laying in the hot sandy desert almost unconscious he could see
another gang off in the distant horizon. He thought to himself 'is
this a hallucination or perhaps a mirage?'. Drift did not have the
energy to get up and run, and even if he could there was nowhere to
run and feared that the Legion tracked him.
However,
upon approach this gang appeared different, almost friendly yet still
menacing. The leader of the gang spoke up and said "Who are you?
we tracked you going through the wormhole!". Drift explained he
was being held captive at the Legion Planet X and escaped. The Leader
said "Ah great! then you have valuable information about Legion,
how would you like to become an official team member of The Colony?".
Drift thought 'is this a test? is this for real?' and joined The
Colony without hesitation. The Colony treated Drift well, trained him
and gave him more power, he was more powerful than ever. They
exchanged information and it became a very useful weapon in the fight
against Legion.
To
this day together The Colony fights the Legion and other threats.
Looking back reminiscing Drift knew this all happened because of the
first encounter with Legion.
