The Adventure Fiction Contest has concluded and over the next week or so, we will be publishing your stories on the blog and in-game. All entries are posted in random order of merit except the top three finalists, which will be posted last.

Note that all entries are published unedited.

Here is the entry by Cadaverdog:

Well for starters as many have heard, my power has was divinely gifted to be able to apprehend all the the hardest to find criminals no matter where they may be. I am capable of teleporting to any location I conjure within my mind with total control of my arrival. I can take a few minutes to decide exactly where I want to appear and can even speak during this time period although being invisible and transparent in form. In addition to this amazing ability I am capable of speaking, understanding, reading, writing any and every language no matter if it doesn't even exist any more or is from another planet and including body language, sign languages, any and every animal (which can be done verbally or telepathically with enabling the animal to have greater communication & understanding and response + more easily convincing of them to work with me), binary, medical term, and you all get the picture. I also have to be ability to adapt to any environment I teleport to, even if I choose to take someone to the sun or under water or somewhere light years away. With the adaption of each environment comes an automatically imputed knowledge of the area. And just in case something were to happen, I have very strong healing factor to remain healthy from the likes of illness and poisons and venom and injuries (healed pretty instantaneously) and along with adaption to withstand extreme temps or protection from drowning or space,. etc. In addition to my powers comes medical training, survival training, emergency response training, and few other things here and there. Anyway, enough of the analysis of being a traveling master.

Due to my abilities though I have crossed paths already with the Leprechaun, the Easter Bunny, and Cupid and if I wanted to, I could go ahead to the Hooded Man. I wasn't born yesterday though, although I pretty much don't age now, so I know to make sure I am ready and everyone going with me is ready and that there is a strong, sound tactical plan with an A,B,C,D scenario basis. So the adventures of the Hooded Man will be postponed to a later time of choosing. I have many ideas and surprises in store for him.

A little while back I decided to visit the Leprechaun. I had learned of what happened and decided to broker a deal with him. I even swam in his treasure doing my visit. Anyway, I offered to take his treasure to a more secure location since he had been pretty much compromised. After having an in depth discussion with him and his expression of great remorse and longing to assist with the Hooded Man in times to come, I even offered him a way to not only have his powers back but for all his powers and abilities to be in mint form to his fullest extent with maybe even some skills he didn't know he was capable of. I happen to know another divinely gifted individual whom can make someone or something become their most perfected form to their greatest potential or can take away special powers, talents, skills, or abilities or if it happens to be non organic matter can disintegrate it altogether. So even if he got out of line or power hungry later-that could be corrected. BTW-the Ultimate Nullifier will most likely play a part in times to come. So of course the Leprechaun thought it was too good to be true or a trap of some sort but at the same time he was highly intrigued. He agreed to meet him, so I went to get him right quick and returned. I let him in on everything and he told the Leprechaun he could give him but a taste if he was skeptical, so he did. Then our new friend was pleased and fully agreed to be supercharged and in return he not only pledged his assistance but gave each of us all kinds of awesome old treasures. I especially appreciated the fact of them being old and laden with history since that avenue happens to be one of my favorite subjects.

As far as the Easter Bunny goes, well I happened to hear she had the best chocolate in the world-even better than Nestle's. Quite simply, several members of my family love chocolate so I decided to visit the Bunny. I told the Easter Bunny about myself and others to some degree and of future plans even, in order to garner trust. It was a calculated risk, but for the sake of the Bunny's assistance and for a package of euphoric chocolate to help the family love me even more(haha) I did so and offered to bring her pretty much whatever she longed to have within reason of course. So the Easter Bunny agreed and gave me lots of delectable chocolates and agreed to offer assistance at the time to come. As for what the Easter Bunny requested, well that's her business and if I was you all I wouldn't dare ask her out of curiosity either. Remember that curiosity killed the cat, don't have to be a cat though.

Lastly-Mr. Cupid. I decided to pop on over to his current locale and yes I initially had to avoid some of his raging and for a second there was even tempted to put him in an iceberg or even drop him in some lava or something, but anyway I kept talking with him. I let him know of many trials, tribulations, injustices, and so on I had faced in the past before receiving the gifts. I commiserated with him and let him talk all he wanted and I listened. I offered him some advice here and there on coping mechanisms. To make a long story short, after hours and hours of initially hitting and missing followed by great in depth discussion of concerns, inner demons, worries, and the like, he had calmed. Yes he is not completely remedied by any means, but who is after one discussion. But, he enjoyed my visit and wanted me to visit again in the future and we discuss some various mutual interests and such. He also was not ready to commit to future rendered assistance yet, but there is time. And for me, time can be instantaneously-soooooo we'll see what the future will bring.
