A bit on builds and effectiveness

by WizWom (#11111)

Your hero has four main stats in combat: attack, defense, move, and life. Your attack vs. opponent's defense is used as your base damage, which can then be enhanced with multipliers, bonus damages, and so on by equipment. Move vs. move (plus modifiers and debuffs) is the chance to hit, if you miss, it reports the opponent dodges.

Personally, I built a dodge heavy build and focused my powers on dodge first. For the budget player, this means you use your limited funds for powers in the focus area, and crystal for the others.

With no equipment, My stats are
STRIKE: 75134
BLOCK: 65807
MOVE: 87853
Life: 155

When I gear up (all morphon gear), I get to
STRIKE: 117209
BLOCK: 120427
MOVE: 159014
Life: 460

My life is a bit low; that's the trade-off you have to make to get the move bonus I get.

When your back is against the wall, that is when your build shines or not. Against Tygger’s Freak Show, no one was less than 12 levels higher than I was (lvl 89 during this battle).

WizWom (‡ Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮ ‡) attacked Stormforce lvl 126, 1016 Health (Tygger’s Freak Show) and won. (to be fair.... 3 losses, 1 win, 4 losses, 2nd win)
Heisenberg lvl 101, 952 Life (Tygger’s Freak Show) attacked WizWom (‡ Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮ ‡) and lost. (I got 2 wins against him, he did two losses vs. me)
WizWom (‡ Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮ ‡) attacked MetaSpanky lvl 102, 1165 Life (Tygger’s Freak Show) and lost. (I lost twice to him, he won twice against me)
WizWom (‡ Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮ ‡) attacked Almost a Hero lvl 104, 1216 Life (Tygger’s Freak Show) and won. (I got two wins against him; he did lose-win on me)
WizWom (‡ Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮ ‡) attacked Harry Freak lvl 188, 898 Life (Tygger’s Freak Show) and won. (went won-lost-won; he attacked me and lost, then got 2 wins)
WizWom (‡ Ɽ₲-₵ⱤɆ₳₮ɄⱤɆ₴ Ø₣ ₮ⱧɆ ₦ł₲Ⱨ₮ ‡) attacked Wee Willy Winkie lvl 161, 1100 life (Tygger’s Freak Show) and lost. (two tries)

Honestly, I rarely attack people higher level than me, and I only did here because I saw the defensive wins and that we were going to be outmatched anyway. It was fun to see how well I did.
