The bell has rung, the doors locked, and "Closing Time" by Classic Pop band Semisonic is playing all across the Stellar Arena. Round One of League War Birthday bash is officially done, with no ongoing overtime matches to slow down the close of day business. Let's look at the nine divisions and where the leagues stand.
Division 1
][☣][ WMD - Black Order ][☣][ (Win) 5th Precinct: Omniversal Traffic Cops 5th Precinct Galactic ♦ Avengers 5¹ ♦ (Win)
As predicted, both 5th Precinct teams suffered losses in Round One. 5th Precinct: Omniversal Traffic Cops were steamrolled by ][☣][ WMD - Black Order ][☣][ , final score 122 -3. The ♦ Avengers 5¹ ♦ were just as brutal to the 5th Precinct Galactic, defeating them 95-7. The 5th Precinct teams did put up a fight, taking swings at their opponents and taking a few wins, both offensive and defensive.

Legacy of Spawn (Win)
5th Precinct: Kung Fu Hustle
Avengers 5¹ flossed with 5th Precinct: Kung Fu Hustle, scoring a whopping 139 wins to the 5th's 3. In the other fight of Division 3, Legacy of Spawn (76) defeated the † SERAPHIM ANGELS †(43) in the closest match so far.
Starmaster, Legacy of Spawn, had this message for leader Captain Bob, leader of SERAPHIM ANGELS. "Your league put up a great fight. My fights against you and Seraphim could have gone much differently if I hadn't made last minute alterations to my equipped gear. It was an honor to fight against you."
In the fight against the Avengers 5¹, a member of the 5th Precinct Xcentric defeated Final Judgement51 twice, but what else should be expected when a Level 332 character challenges a Level 152 opponent. Can't say there is much surprise in that win. The third of their three points came from a defensive win as Anomaly is defeated by Super Steve.

In the only match where over 200 battles were fought, G^L^XY R^N63R5 defeated The Scottish Claymores, 224 to 56. In a surprising turn of events, Omniversal Guardians stood their ground and defeated the SOB HUNTER/KILLER league, 69 -56. My original prediction was for the SOB league to take the gold, but it looks now like they will be SOL (Suddenly outta Luck). My money will now be on the G^L^XY R^N63R5.
